I’m a designer, a creative thinker and maker, passionate about shaping meaningful interactions between people, often through – yet beyond – technology. Focused on and inspired by people, my work takes place at the intersection of design, technology and sociology.
I hold a B.Sc. in Print and Media Technologies and a B.A. in Design of Interactive Media from the University of Wuppertal (Germany) and a M.A. in Social Design from the Design Academy Eindhoven (The Netherlands).
My background in both print technologies and interactive design allows me to use a variety of media ranging from photography and text, through print, film, animations and digital applications to installations, as a means to convey strong concepts that trigger behavioural change by criticising the social status quo and proposing alternatives.
Currently, I am researching new ways to infuse the essence of person-to-person exchanges into text-based communication to express emotions and empathy beyond words by taking advantage of new technological developments.
Next to my personal projects, I enjoy creating and participating in multidisciplinary networks of people, either by engaging in the organisation and realisation of events, or by teaching in fields of my expertise.
I am open to exciting new projects and interesting opportunities to extend my creative network; firstname.lastname@example.org is a good place to start a meaningful exchange 🙂
